NY Giants Central:
June 16 is the anniversary of the news of Domenik Hixon’s torn ACL. At the time we thought nothing of it because he was mostly a return specialist and rarely saw action on the field as a wide receiver.
As it turns out, we desperately needed him in the return game and with injuries to several starters at wide receiver, it would have been nice to have a reliable backup on hand.
Mike Garafolo mentioned in an article that he thought Hixon looked good at the workouts this week, and Hixon validated those statements by telling reporters his knee is “100 percent” recovered from surgery.
Ramses Barden had another surgery in March to clean out his ankle, but says that it was not a setback. He is recovering well from his ankle injury in the Cowboys game last year and, according to Ralph Vacchiano, expects to be a full participant in training camp.
