Quick, who had a four-way tie in the AFC East entering the third Sunday of October?
The Bills and Dolphins did not have high expectations and yet here they are tied with both the Jets and Patriots.
Still, this matchup will be devastating for New England if they were to lose in their own stadium. After all, the Pats are still the same offense that can gash your defense apart thanks to three and four receiver sets that are nearly impossible.
Wes Welker (ankle), Rob Gronkowski (hip), Aaron Hernandez (ankle) and Brandon Lloyd (hip) are legit stars that have all been dinged up with some nagging injuries.
It is not at all bizarre how the two leapers and high-flyers if you will are dealing with hip issues and the two possession stars are suffering from ankle injuries, although Hernandez was much tougher being a high sprain.
Still, Brady has the boys prepared as ever and this is a crucial game that can go a long ways towards their pote...

Well, that’s certainly an interesting wardrobe choice. Tweeted by the official Twitter account of the New England Patriots with the message, “@StevanRidley rockin’ the onesie jumpsuit while he chats w/@nflnetwork,” above is the odd image of running back Stevan Ridley rocking a zip-up, onesie jumpsuit kind of outfit. Wow. Ridley explained the wacky getup thusly: “The [...]

Jonathan Grimes made a name for himself in the preseason for the Texans before being placed on the practice squad. With all the Jets injuries at running back, Jets RB Jonathan Grimes will be active for Sunday’s game against the Patriots. Both Bilal Powell (shoulder) and Joe McKnight (ankle) will be inactive. Grimes, is an undrafted rookie out of William & Mary. He projects...

Chris Gross - Patriots 27, Jets 20- The Jets head into Foxboro coming off of a dominating performance against the young Indianapolis Colts at home. They face a New England team ranked 5th against the run with a very young and talented front 7, accompanied by an extremely explosive offensive unit. New York has been vastly improved over the past couple weeks...
Here's the link to the study. Heard this on Toucher and Rich this morning.First of all, the way these stats are put together doesn't make any sense. They take the differential between road and home wins. All this shows is that the Patriots are just as good on the road as they are at home. Look at the bottom of the list and you'll find other curious teams down there.Second...

Bill Belichick does not trust the defense and the team has to be worried late in the fourth quarter.
Coming off a tough loss to the Seahawks this past Sunday the Patriots have no small task this weekend as the New York Jets come to Gillette Stadium. Jets week is always exciting as Rex Ryan always seems to say something interesting. The Patriots in typical fashion do not respond...

When Darrelle Revis went down for the season.. fine I'll admit it. I was so excited. Listen, I never root for injuries, but when one as significant as that happens, to the team I hate the most? Yeah, I was excited! However, it hasn't really had the kind of impact I was hoping for. Have the Jets gone in the tubes? Not really, not yet anyway. If the Patriots beat them this...

Will Rex Ryan and the New York Jets use quarterback Tim Tebow at running back this weekend against the New England Patriots? (Credit: AP Photo)
It is no secret that the New York Jets organization has been through some struggles. The loss of crucial players such as Darrelle Revis to injury, the dysfunction between players and coaches and the issues at quarterback, have not only hurt...
A week ago, no one would have thought that Week 7's Pats/Jets match-up would feature teams with identical records. With a four-way tie for 1st place in the AFC East, how big is today's game and how do you see it playing out?
