PLAYERS: Geno Smith
TEAMS: New York Jets
The New York Jets really have their hands full heading into the upcoming 2013 NFL regular season. It’s not really a question of whether head coach Rex Ryan will be fired, but when.  The Jets entered the 2013 NFL Draft needing to find an immediate starter in the secondary, improve in the trenches on both sides of the ball and try to land a guy who could lead the team and compete for the starting job at quarterback. Photo Credit: NewYorkJets.com New York did each of those things, taking the first cornerback in Dee Milliner (No. 9 overall), the first 4-3 defensive tackle/3-4 defensive end in DT Sheldon Richardson and the second quarterback in Geno Smith (No. 39 overall) off the board back April. It’s important to note that though the Jets are still a circus and the team obviously neglected to upgrade just about everything but the kitchen sink, this was at minimum a two-year rebuilding process.
