The New York jets quarterback controversy took yet another interesting twist this week when many current players said that they had absolutely no faith or confidence in Tim Tebow, opting rather to stick with mark Sanchez as the team’s starting QB going forward. As bad as Sanchez has been throughout the entire 2012 NFL season, it says something when the Jets do not even support a change at quarterback with Tebow. Except, perhaps, for running back Shonn Greene. Or at least, that is what it seemed like he said earlier this week. While many players – even some who did so the cowardly way by speaking anonymously – said that Tebow was “terrible” and could not play the position in the NFL [which is what I have been saying for three or four years now, but whatever], Greene said that the Jets needed a change. “You feel bad for Mark, but at the same time, you want to win games. We’re not here to protect people’s feelings,” Greene said, according to Yahoo Sports. “If you want to win games, you...

Jets running back Shonn Greene wants Tebow

On Wednesday, members of the New York Jets locker room semi-shocked the world with their shots against backup quarterback Tim Tebow. Since that initial salvo, various members of the team (including Tebow) have weighed in on the matter but nobody’s words seem to feel as honest as running back Shonn Greene’s.  Please Click Here To Read This Story

Tim Tebow’s Standing Among Jets Will Doom Time in New York More Than Quarterback Deficiencies

As the Jets work their way farther into another forgettable season, the focus of football in New York has once again turned to who should be the starting quarterback. But there’s one...

New York Jets players rip Tim Tebow, call him “terrible”

We can’t say we are surprised that it has finally happened. It was only a matter of time before New York Jets players came out with their true feelings about their back-up quarterback, Tim Tebow. In Wednesday’s edition of the New York Daily News, more then a dozen Jets players voiced their opinions on Tebow, one even calling him, “terrible.” and saying that he hasn’t improved...

Anonymous Jets players rip Tebow

The horrid play of Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez along with the team's 3-6 record has some fans and pundits calling for the Jets to finally make the move and insert Tim Tebow as starting quarterback. That might be a popular decision among the masses outside of Rex Ryan's tear-filled locker room, but inside, Tebow has anything but the support of his Gang Green teammates....

Time for Rex to admit Sanchez is not his ‘guy’

I am pretty sure I lost a bet earlier this season when I predicted Mark Sanchez would be benched by Week 10. At the start of the 2012 season, things were looking okay for the Jets. All they really needed to focus on is getting through a tough first half, fix mistakes during the bye, and storm through a much easier second-half schedule. But, the Jets did not do what they needed to...

Rex Ryan: Tebow Comments “Cowardly”

Per a report from CNN’s Sports Illustrated, New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan thinks the player(s) who called Tim Tebow “terrible” are “a cowardly thing.”  Ryans comments are in response to an earlier report of over a dozen Jets players and members of the organization anonymously criticizing Tebow. Ryan is absolutely right; if you want to call Tebow terrible, be like the...

Rather than wasting time with Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow, the New York Jets should start former Alabama standout Greg McElroy at quarterback

After yet another putrid performance in Sunday’s 28-7 loss to the Seahawks at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Washington, it is more evident than ever that Mark Sanchez is a quarterback incapable of making the New York Jets a winning organization. … Continue reading →

Jets-Rams Preview

There's a strong possibility many NFL teams will be starting backup quarterbacks in Week 11 for one reason or another, though the New York Jets won't be one of them. That seems to be just fine with a few unidentified teammates of Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow. Coach Rex Ryan's task of helping the slumping Jets remain positive is becoming increasingly difficult as they...
