The New York Jets signed Braylon Edwards on Tuesday, just a week after the veteran wide receiver referred to the people who run the team as idiots. After Edwards was waived by the Seattle Seahawks, Gang Green put a claim on him and was awarded with the former 2005 first-round pick (selected third overall by the Cleveland Browns) on waivers, the team announced. The 6-3, 214-pound wide out struggled to separate from defenders in Seattle, as he registered just eight receptions for 74 yards in 10 games with the team.  Last season, the 29-year-old caught just 15 catches for 181 yards in nine games with the San Francisco 49ers.
