PLAYERS: Tim Tebow
TEAMS: New York Jets

Even with Tim Tebow in, the New York Jets can’t get rid of their demons from this season. In a blowout 34-0 loss to the San Francisco 49ers Sunday, Tebow was given a chance to have a pass play, in which he completed, his first as a member of the Jets.

However, the bad part was that it ended in a very ugly fashion. On a 3rd-and-1, Tebow completed the pass to tight end Dedrick Epps, who got injured at the end of the play after being hit hard. Epps would be hit hard in the knee and loss control of the ball.

Even “Tebow Time” can’t save this team.

Tim Tebow Goes From Blocking to Throwing, Promptly Gets His Receiver Injured (Video)

Tim Tebow enthusiasts have been calling for the Jets' No. 15 to take over at quarterback since the moment he was signed by New York. On Sunday, Tebow finally spelled Mark Sanchez for the first time. At first he just came into the game with Sanchez under center, lining up out wide and blocking the 49ers' Aldon Smith on one play and Ahmad Brooks on another as Sanchez worked...

New York Jets: Is It Time To Start Tim Tebow at Quarterback?

I’ve made it to India for the 2012 Parikrma Champions League in Bangalore! I missed the New York Jets getting smashed by the San Francisco 49ers, but is it time for Tim Tebow to replace Mark Sanchez as starting quarterback for the Jets? The post New York Jets: Is It Time To Start Tim Tebow at Quarterback? appeared first on FootBasket.

Tim Tebow publicly stands by Mark Sanchez

Regardless of what might be said at the moment it appears like we are inching closer to Tebow Time in New York. The Jets backup quarterback is not taking the bait in regards to throwing current starter Mark Sanchez under the bus. Please Click This Link To Read This Story

Both Jets Quarterbacks Tim Tebow & Mark Sanchez Gave Their Hearts To San Fransisco

The New York Jets offense had no answers today as the San Francisco 49ers held Mark Sanchez to just 98 yards passing and no touchdowns with 8 minutes left in the fourth quarter. Sanchez had one interception and Tim Tebow completed only one pass for 9 yards. The 49ers were clearly in control of this game. The New York Jets couldn’t stop the 49ers defensively either. The 49ers were...

Sanchez struggling, opens door for Tim Tebow

The New York Jets and quarterback Mark Sanchez struggled against the San Francisco 49ers Sunday, opening the door for Tim Tebow to see more snaps. The 49ers beat the Jets, 34-0, at MetLife Stadium.  Sanchez went 13-of-29 for 103 yards and an interception. Coach Rex Ryan doesn't believe its time for a quarterback change. “I don’t think that’s the answer, I think Mark...

Sanchez still starter as Tebow waits

Rex Ryan insists it is not time for a quarterback change, no matter who thinks it might benefit the Jets if Tim Tebow stepped in for Mark Sanchez. The Jets coach says Monday he knows ''in my heart'' that switching quarterbacks is not the move that will jump-start the team, even after an embarrassing 34-0 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Ryan says there's plenty...

Jets standing by Sanchez as Tebow, well, stands by

Is It Really Tebow Time For The New York Jets?

During the offseason rumors were abuzz about the Jets trying to acquire Peyton Manning; so to ease those rumors, Ryan and the Jets gave Mark Sanchez a three-year contract extension with $20.5 million guaranteed and $40.5 million in “new” money. Just a few weeks later, the Jets then traded a fourth and sixth round pick for Tim Tebow, also agreeing to pay $2.35 million owed to...

Is it time for a “Sanchez-ometer” in New York?

Tim Tebow threw his first pass of the year yesterday, a week later than I predicted.  Surprisingly he was able to complete it, leaving his success rate for the season at a very impressive 100%.  Unfortunately the 1-1 performance didn’t do much for his career completion percentage (aka the Tebometer), which is still only 47.5%. But the Jets backup QB can take solace in the fact...

Santonio Holmes Fumbles Ball Away For 49ers Touchdown After Suffering Non-Contact Knee Injury (Video)

Not even the prayers of Tim Tebow could save this Jets season. Last week, Darrelle Revis went down with a season-ending knee injury, and on Sunday it looked like Santonio Holmes might have suffered a similar fate. At least when Darrelle Revis went down it didn't immediately result in a touchdown. Holmes caught a Mark Sanchez pass and immediately crumpled to the ground holding...

What Rex Ryan can do to save his job in New York

I have been watching football for a long time and to be honest, when the JETS lost Darrelle Revis to a season ending knee injury, I knew trouble would be brewing. As of right now Rex Ryan’s job is not in jeopardy but it will be soon.  The biggest mistake the JETS did this offseason was bring in Tim Tebow.  I am a huge Tebow fan, but if the JETS lose another game like they did...
