I get Google alerts anytime Tony Romo or the Dallas Cowboys are mentioned in a news article. Little did I know my e-mail inbox would be flushed with poop from the New York media in the form of "journalism." Even TMZ.com, the world-renowned tabloid gorillas, are joining in on the Tony Romo-Jessica Simpson fest. But the New York media is taking the cake. Eleven of the 13 stories on this glorified love affair came out of New York today. As if they don't have anything better to do. I'm not surprised, though. The New York Football Giants don't have a prayer to win this game, but the New Yorkers who love all things Blue and Red will do all they can to make it seem like there's hope. The media is helping in that humorous goal. For example, let's take the New York Post, known for shoddy journalism. In this article, it seems the Giants fans actually have more sense than the newspaper, which is trying to draw more controversy out of the love affair.
