We already covered Saturday’s games, and here is everything you need to know about Sunday’s games. Seattle Seahawks at Atlanta Falcons All year long, I have never been overly impressed with the Falcons. Early season wins against the Broncos and Redskins were the only games they played against teams that made the playoffs. That was before either team found their identity and started to run on all cylinders. Peyton would salivate over an opportunity to face the Falcons again to avenge his Week 2 loss. Two stats have defined Matt Ryan throughout his career, his record at home and his record in the playoffs.Ryan has compiled a 33-6 record at home over his career while being winless in his three playoff games. All three of those losses have been to teams that went on to the Super Bowl that year. I don’t see the Seahawks going on to the Super Bowl after this game. But I do see them winning. Wilson has continued to impress me all year, Lynch turns beast mode on at will, and their secondary gives me nightmares and I don’t even play quarterback. Ryan does though and he will face the secondary that’s 6th in the league in opposing passing yards and has 18 interceptions. Ryan will give them two more this week. Maybe a fumble too. I like the Seahawks here. Seattle Seahawks 30, Atlanta Falcons 21 Houston Texans at New England Patriots I’m sure Dan Shaughnessy has been sleeping great on this pick all week. He may have given the Texans just what they needed. As if the Texans weren’t already on a vengeance to recover from their regular season loss to the Patriots, now they have some bulletin board material. Arian Foster made it his twitter profile picture, I’m sure it will be brought up in the locker room before Sunday afternoon’s game. The real question is: Will it be enough? I doubt it. This is still Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Gilette Stadium in Foxborough. As much as I would like to see Houston go into Foxborough and knock off the Patriots, I don’t think they can handle Brady. He’s too good at home, he’s too good in the playoffs, and he’s just too damn anxious to put another Super Bowl ring on his hand. I’ll take the Patriots at home, Dan Shaughnessy will sleep well another week, and Arian Foster and Gary Kubiak will have to continue to wait their turn. New England Patriots 37, Houston Texans 24
