A rumor sourced to Tony Grossi all over Twitter indicates that the trade winds are blowing as we move closer to the draft. The meat of the rumor has the Eagles looking to move up to #4 presumably to take Ryan Tannehill. The Eagles have the 15th pick in the draft and also numbers 46 and 51 in the second round.

Free agent safety DeAngelo Smith will be visiting the Jets this weekend and is expected to sign with the team according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. Smith, a fifth round pick by the Cowboys in 2009 out of the University of Cincinnati, has also been on the Lions, Bears and Browns. According to Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com, the Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns have been talking all the time and they’ve discussed a trade for the fourth overall pick.
Right now though, the chances of the Eagles trading up from the 15th pick to the 4th pick are very slim.
At the end of the day, I really don’t believe that the Eagles are very serious about trading up...
