Titans DC implies he wants opposing players carted off

The Titans’ defense, through four games, has been nothing short of horrible, ranking last or near last in the major statistical categories — points allowed, total yards allowed, passing yards, and rushing yards. Statistics aside, they can’t seem to defend the middle of the field on a consistent basis, drawing the ire of coordinator Jerry Gray. Heading into their Week 5 matchup...

McCarthy, Britt both questionable for Titans

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Titans linebacker Colin McCarthy and receiver Kenny Britt both are questionable for Sunday's game against Minnesota. McCarthy at least has practiced; Britt has not seen any action in two consecutive weeks due to his sprained left ankle. McCarthy has not played since injuring the ankle in the season opener against New England. He practiced Wednesday and...

Titans LB Patrick Bailey Undergoes Surgery For Broken Hand

Titans linebacker Patrick Bailey underwent surgery on his broken hand and his status for Sunday’s game against the Vikings is uncertain. Bailey broke the hand during last Sunday’s game against the Texans, and played wearing a cast on the hand in the second half. He didn’t practice on Wednesday. “We’ll have to see how sore he is,” coach Mike Munchak said. “It is just a...

Kenny Britt not doing as well as the Titans had hoped

According to John Glennon of The Tennessean, wide receiver Kenny Britt isn’t doing as much as the Titans had hoped by now. Britt is still working his way back from a knee scope that he underwent in the offseason. I wonder if Britt will be ready to go for this week’s game against the Vikings.  There was hope he would have been back last week, but he ended up not being ready.

Peterson downplays rivalry with Johnson

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Two seasons ago, a meeting between Adrian Peterson and Chris Johnson, two of the NFL's premier running backs, would have been a highlight on the NFL's weekly schedule. Where's Michael?

It's time for a new parlor game here at Total Titans, namely "what the heck is going on when the Tennessee Titans give up a passing touchdown." Week 5 Rush Defense: Is CJ OK?

Chris Johnson is officially the most frustrating player in all of Fantasy Football.  In his first three games, he rushed for a total of 45 yards against decent, but not great run defenses.  So what does he do against the hardest defense he’s faced this year?  He carries the ball 25 times for 141 yards.  He didn’t even get all of those yards off of one break-away carry. ...
