The Miami Dolphins are currently putting it to the New England Patriots 14-0 half way through the second quarter. However, the Dolphins and QB Ryan Tannehill will finish this afternoon’s game and perhaps the rest of the regular season without a key offensive weapon, WR Brandon Gibson.
Gibson started the scoring this afternoon for the Dolphins after scoring a four yard touchdown. It’s being reported by Albert Breer on Twitter that the Miami Dolphins “initially” fear that the knee injury is season ending.
Gibson, obtained as a free agent this past offseason and a former member of the St. Louis Rams, was developing nicely as the Dolphins slot receiver. After seven weeks, he has recorded 29 receptions for 322 yards and has scored three touchdowns in the last two weeks.
