NFL Network’s Sound FX takes you inside Super Bowl XLVI: “That was the game.”

This won’t be pleasant… And judging from the live tweets last night while Sounds FX was on NFL Network, you guys aren’t really into this. But still, as part of bringing you the news, and as part of therapy, we’ll note how the NFL Network had QB Tom Brady and DT Vince Wilfork mic’d up for the Super Bowl loss to the G-Men. During the show, we learned a few things. Like, before WR Mario Manningham’s 38-yarder, coach Bill Belichick told his guys, “Make ‘em throw to Manningham, make ‘em throw to (Bear) Pascoe.“  Like how referee John Parry said after WR Wes Welker’s drop, “That was the game.” Or how Brady said before the second-to-last drive, “Hey, how about a 7 minute drive for a touchdown, end this on our terms.” If you can stomach it, there are several parts available online.
