From the outside looking in, the organization appears to struggle in their attempts to develop back into a consistent winner and a respectable franchise.
And it’s not as if the franchise’s leaders are not tying, but the organization has struck out more times than they have hits.
A year ago, Dolphins’ management attempted to sign Jim Harbaugh as the new head coach to lead the young rebuilding club, despite then-head coach Tony Sparano, now the New York Jets’ offensive coordinator, being employed for that position. Instead, Harbaugh decided to remain in the Bay Area and became the San Francisco 49ers’ head man.
