What I Liked:
I loved the way the quarterbacks of both teams were slinging the ball around the field. If you like the passing aspect of the NFL, this one was for you. Drew Brees and Matthew Stafford combined for 57 completions on 80 attempts, 750 yards, 4 touchdowns, and just 1 interception.
Drew Brees, while only making up 342 of those yards through the air, was responsible for 3 touchdown passes in a game that both quarterbacks were great at distributing the ball around the field to their various receivers. Props go out to both quarterbacks in this game.

I don’t think there is any doubt that the three best quarterbacks in the NFL right now are Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints and Tom Brady of the New England Patriots. All three of those QBs have led their respective teams to wins in the Super Bowl, and [...]
Pierre Thomas' run was for eight yards.
Then on second-and-2, Drew Brees found Robert Meachem for a 67-yard TD pass.
Meachem completely juked out Eric Wright on the play. He juked him out so bad, Wright had has backed turned for more than half the play.
"I don't know what is going on there," Detroit Lions defensive coordinator says, of San Diego letting quarterback Drew Brees and running back/returner Darren Sproles go to New Orleans as free agents.
