PLAYERS: Sam Shields
TEAMS: Green Bay Packers

When the players hit the ground in the end zone, the officials determined that both Tate and Jennings had possession of the ball. Under the rule for simultaneous catch, the ball belongs to Tate, the offensive player. The result of the play was a touchdown. Replay Official Howard Slavin stopped the game for an instant replay review. The aspects of the play that were reviewable included if the ball hit the ground and ...

  • Of course they would support the call on the field, because they are too stubborn to admit how wrong they are for sticking with these guys. They're trying but the NFL is too big a stage for them to handle. The NFL is just being monumentally cheap in dealing with the officials.

Green Bay Packers leave Seattle full of whys

The Green Bay Packers ended their Monday night game verses the Seattle Seahawks wondering why this defeat happened. In a game that ended on a questionable call by the replacement officials that gave the Seattle Seahawks the game winning touchdown the Packers fell to 1 and 2 on the season.  The first why for the Green Bay Packers is: Why to Aaron Rodgers get sacked eight, yes eight...

1-2* IS PERFECT

Having calmed down enough to post this, I think this could be very well the game and play that vaults the Packers into “BEAST MODE” (please don’t sue me Marshawn).   To me the Packers were a team living on a hot streak from two years ago and lacked just a bit of hyper intensity and you know the whole foaming at the mouth sense of urgency.    And to some degree the fans...
