Could a reunion between RB Brandon Jacobs and the New York Giants be in the works for the 2013 season? According to The New York Post, there is a small possibility that the team could bring back the running back that was once a member of their running back group known as Earth, Wind and Fire. Jacobs joined the San Francisco 49ers last season but his outbursts on social media platforms led to his eventual release from the team on December 31, prior to the Niners entering the playoffs. There is little market for a running back over the age of 30 in the NFL lately and Jacobs will be turning 31 in July. A source tells the paper that Jacobs would love to return to New York. Obviously.
