Brian Urlacher has ripped Chicago Bears’ fans in the past. He has openly discussed his feelings toward the fans and the media, and that only increases after a tough loss. Dropping a home game late in the season against the Green Bay Packers in a key NFC North divisional battle certainly constitutes a tough loss.
Any guess as to which two sorts of people Urlacher was ripping after the loss?
Urlacher is sick of the fans. Sick of the booing. Sick of the media. Sick of people questioning if the team should fire head coach Lovie Smith. Sick of it all.
And he is telling anyone who will listen.
“Our crowd was pretty good today for the most part,” Urlacher said Sunday during his weekly segment on Fox Chicago. “They were loud for a minute there. The boos were really loud, which is always nice. The only team in our division to get booed at home is us. It’s unbelievable to me.”
