The disappointing season for the Houston Texans continued last night. After leading the Indianapolis Colts 21-3 at halftime, the Texans were outscored 24-3 in the second half while Colts QB Andrew Luck hit WR T.Y. Hilton for three straight touchdowns in the second half. One thing should be taken away from this game for the Texans though, Case Keenum should remain the starting quarterback for the last games of the regular season. Anyone that watched Sunday night’s game clearly saw that the Texans offense operates much differently with Case Keenum under center. Keenum completed 20 of 34 passes for 350 yards and three scores without throwing an interception. His mobility created problems for the Colts and Keenum was only sacked once. His escapability allowed the Texans some big plays, as illustrated by WR Andre Johnson hauling in 9 receptions for 229 yards and three scores. The future is cloudy for the Texans after this season. The future of head coach Gary Kubiak is in question. Hopef...

Case Keenum dropping bombs on Colts and pumping fists

Case Keenum helped the Houston Texans jump out to a 21-3 lead over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night with long bombs and fist pumps. The Colts clearly were not ready for Keenum after seeing the dump and dunk of Matt Schaub on film. Not bad for an undrafted free agent making his second career start. Of course all the celebration was halted momentarily when Texans head coach...

Texans QB entertaining in defeat

The Houston Texans dropped a heartbreaking 27-24 decision to the Indianapolis Colts at home, a highly disappointing defeat in which the team surrendered eighteen consecutive unanswered points and lost its head coach Gary Koubiak in a frightening collapse at halftime. Even in defeat, perhaps it is very difficult to ignore one of the overwhelming positive aspects of last night’s...

Case Keenum and Andre Johnson appear to have taken a liking to each other

Case Keenum and Andre Johnson hooked up not once, but twice for long touchdowns in the first quarter of Sunday night’s Texans-Colts game. Johnson has struggled mightily this season – a lot of which has to do with the struggles of Matt Schaub – so he must be enjoying Keenum showing him some love in the pocket. Keenum appears to be having quite a bit of fun himself. The post...

Case Keenum and Andre Johnson Get on the Same Page Early and Often

The Houston Texans were hoping for the best when they decided to go with Case Keenum over longtime starter Matt Schaub heading into Sunday night's match up with the Indianapolis Colts in a pivotal division game. Would the unproven youngster be able to perform on a national stage? Could he lead the offense and light up defenses like he did in college? Is he the answer to the...

WATCH: Case Keenum Connects Twice With Andre Johnson For TD

I can’t imagine many Texans fans are missing Schaub right now.  The odds are stacked against Houston at home against the division-leading Colts, but Case is closing early on two first quarter TD bombs to Andre Johnson.  The first came on the third play of the opening drive for 62 yards, and the second for 41 yards.  Check them out! Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans: Five Things We Learned

What a crazy Sunday Night Football game!  It looked like the Texans were about to walk away with an easy victory until Indianapolis doubled their efforts and came back from an 18 point deficit.  Let’s see what we learned from that comeback victory:Don't Count the Colts Out - It sure looked grim, as many likely turned off their televisions to get an early night's sleep...

Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans: 2013 Week 9 NFL Pick

Indianapolis Colts (5-2) at Houston Texans (2-5) You could definitely still argue the Texans are underrated and are better than their record. They are moving the chains at a 75% rate, as opposed to 72% for their opponents. That differential is 12th in the NFL. They have been killed by turnovers (-11), an inability to recover fumbles (37.5%), and a ridiculous amount of return touchdowns...

Kubiak’s Future More Important than Football

Sitting in the press box at Reliant on Sunday night at the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts game, the atmosphere was electric and Case Keenum stole the show during the first half. Play calls were working, Andre Johnson found the fountain of youth and it was because of what Keenum put together in front of his hometown crowd. After the Colts knelt the ball to get out of the...

Double A Breakdown: Week 9 - Colts vs Texans

The 5-2 Indianapolis Colts travel to Houston to play the 2-5 Texans in what should be a tough divisional matchup. Both teams are coming off their bye weeks and both are dealing with injuries. Case Keenum starts for the Texans after a solid outing against the Chiefs, and the Colts will play their first game since 1998 without Reggie Wayne or Marvin Harrison. It should be a fun one...

Texans left with more questions following rough weekend

After losing their sixth straight game, the Houston Texans are reeling from yet another tough defeat in addition to the uncertain status of head coach Gary Kubiak. In fact, although the Texans played well against the Colts, there are now even more unanswered questions in Houston about the future of the team. The most pressing question moving forward for the Texans is quite obviously...
