The Cleveland Browns might be making a change at quarterback. Jason Campbell could be making a start next Sunday at the Minnesota Vikings. Current starter Brandon Weeden sustained a sprained thumb against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. This might be the move the Browns need to get their offense jump started. Weeden’s performance on the field has been less than spectacular.
In two games, Weeden has completed just 54% of his passes for 516 yards. He has tossed just one score while throwing three interceptions. More disturbing, he leads the league in sacks, hitting the turf 11 times.
Tight end Jordan Cameron leads the Browns in receiving with 203 yards and the only receiving touchdown for the Browns. No other receiver on the roster has 100 yards receiving. Nearly 70 other pass catchers around the NFL have over 100 yards after two weeks.
The Browns will get another offensive weapon back on the field this week with Josh Gordon coming off his league imposed two game suspension.
