After the last game of the 2012 regular season for the Philadelphia Eagles, the future for QB Michael Vick remained in doubt. Due an exorbitant salary number in 2013, many pundits speculated that the Eagles would be releasing the quarterback shortly after the Super Bowl in order to save the amount Vick was reportedly due as a roster bonus. Vick told reporters that he didn’t know if he wanted to return after the season, but according to one report, Vick might now be open to a possible return with the Eagles next season under rookie head coach Chip Kelly. Phillymag.com reports that sources close to Vick are suggesting that after two meetings with Kelly, Vick came away impressed and could be considering taking less money next season instead of testing the free agency market in 2013. Several reports last week suggested that the Eagles might be going to make a play for former Oregon quarterback Dennis Dixon this offseason. Dixon was a member of the Ravens practice squad and played the ro...

Why Chip Kelly will fail in Philadelphia

Former Oregon head coach Chip Kelly has a lot of work to do with the Philadelphia Eagles, but no matter how hard he may try to succeed in the NFL he will ultimately not succeed on his first try in the professional ranks. This isn’t to bash Kelly as a head coach, but the chances of a head coach from the college ranks succeeding in the NFL with no experience in the NFL is rare... Read more

Urban Meyer took advantage of the opportunity to flip the speedy RB/WR. Corey...

The Circus That is National Signing Day

National signing day is like no other day in sports. It is a weird day where kids in their late-teens take over our televisions and social media feeds, and it’s a day when grown men hang on the words of high school seniors as though they are awe-inspiring revelations. To many it is a day that decides the future of their favorite college football team; to others it is just a big...
