The Seattle Seahawks and Oakland Raiders are deep in trade talks involving quarterback Matt Flynn, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. #Seahawks are deep in talks with #Raiders for a trade involving QB Matt Flynn, per sources. Raiders making a final run at Carson Palmer 1st — Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) March 29, 2013 While a deal wasn’t expected as of last night, it is close, according to several sources. It’s been reported that the Seahawks would obtain a 2013 draft pick as well as a conditional selection in ’14 in exchange for Flynn. One thing that appears to be holding up a trade is Flynn’s hesitation to re-do his current three-year, $19.5 million contract. Oakland has the cap space to take on Flynn at his current rate, but they are likely interested at a reduced cost in order to help them sign other players and/or draft picks. It’s also believed that the Raiders will make one final attempt to reach an agreement with current QB Carson Palmer. This could prove unfruitful, as Palmer doesn’t appear to be interested in taking a pay cut to remain in Oakland, while he would take a lesser role with a team that is more competitive than the Raiders.  Follow @TheNFLInjuryRpt !function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://www.thenflinjuryreport.com//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs"); var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-34100676-1']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ?
