Quarterbacks: No other group has taken more of a hit this year than this group. The quarterbacks normally get the most love but in 2013 they are being met with shrugged shoulders and the word ‘eh.’
#1 Geno Smith-QB-West Virginia
Smith gets the most press for one reason and one reason only. He is the one high-caliber name available that fits into the flash and bang mold of highlight reel superstars such as Russell Wilson and Cam Newton. He can beat you with both his arm and his feet.
The most impressive thing about Geno Smith is that he improves with each year. He can take a hit in the pocket and he is very accurate on short-to-intermediate throws.
On the deep ball Smith has the arm strength to get it done yet he is prone to overthrowing open targets on home run opportunities.
