The Dallas Cowboys and the Miami Dolphins officially kicked off the NFL season last Sunday, August 4th with the Pro Football Hall of Fame game. This was the beginning. It’s what everyone has been waiting for. Yeah, it’s not real football but it did remind us that real football is less than a month away. Although last Sunday was good, this past Friday night was even better. No, it’s not because Tony Romo missed the Cowboys first pre-season game and was playing for the first time this year. It was because our fantasy football league, the National Fantasizing League, drafted last night. This was our 7th annual draft and as usually the festivities were held at my place. The draft process has evolved some over the years. The first year I borrowed a projector from my work in order to display the draft board on one of the walls in my living room.
