TEAMS: Green Bay Packers, St. Louis Rams, Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Redskins, Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars
The NFL Week 8 Injury Report was released Friday, although fantasy football owners really only need to pay attention on Sunday morning, as that is when the inactives are listed. This week once again carries a plethora of marquee names who will be inactive for today’s games, causing fantasy football owners scrambling to find replacements.
For the Green Bay Packers, Jordy Nelson and Greg Jennings are both inactive. The Packers will rely on Randall Cobb, James Jones and Donald Driver in their absence.
Danny Amendola was hoping to play for the St. Louis Rams, but he will miss at least one more game. Brandon Gibson will continue to be the go-to receiver for Sam Bradford.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have listed running backs Rashard Mendenhall and Isaac Redman as inactive, meaning Jonathan Dwyer will once again carry the load.
As expected, Pierre Garcon is inactive for the Washington Redskins. With Fred Davis lost for the season, expect Santana Moss to continue to get more looks in the slot.
