Pro Sports Daily:
Jets quarterback Tim Tebow has been lauded for his work off the field as frequently as he's criticized for his on-field performance. Tuesday, the Pro Football Writers of America named Tebow the 2012 Good Guy Award winner. Tebow, traded to the Jets in March following the Broncos' acquisition of Peyton Manning, was given the honor, which is bestowed upon a player each year "for his qualities and professional style in helping pro football writers do their jobs." Tebow entered the starting lineup five games into the 2011 season and sparked the Broncos' run to the AFC West title and a wild-card round playoff win over the Steelers. His style as a predominantly running quarterback is unique to the modern era and the attention he commands -- from various sections of society and media types -- is nearly unmatched.

The quarterback for Denver last season and now with the New York Jets won the honor presented by the PFWA for his qualities and professional style in helping pro football writers do their jobs. He is the fifth consecutive quarterback and first member of the Broncos to win.
Being presently devoid of any interest in professional wrestling whatsoever, my knowledge of that particular brand of entertainment ain’t what it used to be (but if you want to chat about The Junkyard Dog or Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, I’m game), I am aware that CM Punk is currently one of the biggest stars in [...]
It is safe to say that the New York media market is one of the harshest, if not the harshest one in the country. After the New York Jets signed Tim Tebow and “Timsanity” took over the tri-state area, the NY Post dubbed the situation a “No-Ring Circus”. Wow, what a way to be clever, [...]
New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow will be hosting Jockey’s “Hot City Cool Down” fashion show in the Outdoor Pavilion at the Orlando Premium Outlets facility on Friday, June 22 at 3:00 p.m. with a second showing at 4:00. I imagine the presence of Tim Tebow at a mall in his home state will be [...]
New York Jets back up QB Tim Tebow racked up the awards while he was at Florida, but he had yet to bring home any hardware until today, when the Pro Football Writers of America named him the recipient of the Good Guy Award. I know what you are saying, just “what is the Good [...]
Will wonders never cease? Despite his reputation of being something of an irrepressible cad, New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow has been named the recipient of the Professional Football Writers of America 2012 Good Guy Award, defined as follows: “The Good Guy Award is given to a NFL player for his qualities and professional style [...]
As if it wasn't already clear that the media loves Tim Tebow, the writers have given him an award to make sure you knew it.
The second opponent on Atlanta's fast and furious schedule is the re-energized Denver Broncos. After finishing 8-8 and beating the Steelers in the wild card round, the Broncos and Tim Tebow were bounced from the playoffs by the New England Patriots. Subsequently Tebow himself was bounced out of Denver and to New York to play H-Back for the Jets. To replace Tebow the Broncos signed...
Former New York Jets wide receiver Plaxico Burress was a guest on ESPN’s First Take on Thursday. One of the subjects that was brought up had to do with what his thoughts are regarding both Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow.
Burress was asked if Sanchez is the guy that can take the Jets to the Super Bowl.
“They just paid him so I think they believe he is,” said Burress...
Tim Tebow is the player that every analyst seems to love to hate. They continually mention his poor mechanics and the 46.5 percent completion rate and 72.9 passer rating he posted last year. They also bring up the thrashing that the Broncos took at the hands of the eventual Super Bowl runner-up New England Patriots..
What they fail to mention is the ride he took the Broncos on to...
