The Washington Redskins continue to climb the NFL Power Rankings this week on a young stud QB and no it’s not RG III.  Ex-Michigan State Spartan Kirk Cousins assumed the role left vacant this week due to a leg injury to Robert Griffin and did an admirable job dismantling the Cleveland Browns who were coming off three straight wins.  The Seattle Seahawks are in a major groove right now as well as they’ve posted 50 points in two consecutive games which is the first time this has been accomplished in the modern era.  Perennial powerhouses such as the Steelers, the Ravens, the Eagles and Chicago are in free-fall mode right now and must win in order to retain a pinch of dignity  The list you see below has been compiled by 13 NFL.com experts.  My job is to extrapolate the data and put it into groupings by division to come up with the NFL’s Strongest and Weakest Divisions.   AFC EAST New England – 4 New York Jets – 22 Buffalo – 24 Miami – 18 TOTAL = 68          Last Week = 67          Gain/Loss = -1 AFC NORTH Pittsburgh – 15 Baltimore – 9 Cincinnati – 13 Cleveland – 26 TOTAL = 63          Last Week = 54          Gain/Loss = -9   AFC SOUTH Houston – 2 Tennessee – 23 Jacksonville – 31 Indianapolis – 12 TOTAL = 68          Last Week = 70          Gain/Loss = +2   AFC WEST San Diego – 25 Kansas City – 32 Denver – 3 Oakland – 30 TOTAL = 90          Last Week = 89          Gain/Loss = -1     NFC EAST Philadelphia – 28 New York Giants – 10 Dallas – 11 Washington – 8 TOTAL = 57          Last Week = 65          Gain/Loss = +8   NFC NORTH Green Bay – 6 Chicago – 16 Detroit – 27 Minnesota – 14 TOTAL = 63          Last Week = 59          Gain/Loss = -4   NFC SOUTH Atlanta – 5 New Orleans – 17 Tampa Bay – 20 Carolina – 21 TOTAL = 63          Last Week = 65          Gain/Loss = +2   NFC WEST San Francisco – 1 Arizona – 29 Seattle – 7 St. Louis – 19 TOTAL = 56          Last Week = 58          Gain/Loss = +2   The strongest division is the NFC West on the strength of 3 wins and a loss this week to overtake last week’s champion, the AFC North.  The weakest division in the NFL is once again, the AFC West who has been a squashed bug on a proverbial shoe for many consecutive weeks now.  The biggest jump for the week was the NFC East as they skipped up 8 spots and the largest decline was last week’s champ, the AFC North with 1 win and 3 losses to fall 9 spots.  Every division has a team ranked in the bottom 2/3′s of the league which creates some parity except for the AFC West who has 2 lousy teams.   Follow me on Twitter : @ChrisGoodinTSHQ E-Mail: fantasyfootballwriter@gmail.com
