San Francisco tight end Delanie Walker says he wants to play in the NFC championship game for the first time since breaking his jaw in the second-to-last game of the regular season. Walker has taken part in practice this week for the first time since getting hurt Dec. 24 at Seattle. Coach Jim Harbaugh said Thursday that Walker's status is up to team doctors and Walker says if it is up to him he will play Sunday against the New York Giants. Walker broke his jaw in two places when he took a knee to the face from Seahawks linebacker Leroy Hill in the first quarter. Walker was tied for fourth on the team with 19 catches for 198 yards and three touchdowns this season.
