It just goes to show...if you have something good it isn't always a good idea to look for greener pastures. Are you taking notes, Pete Carroll?

After guiding some of the most prolific college offenses with Carson Palmer, Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush, Mike Williams, and LenDale White at USC, Norm Chow was a hot commodity in the NFL. After no more than 5 seasons at the helm of the Titans' offense, Chow has been fired because of the regression of Vince Young in his second season and a dismal 2007 offense. Although one of the most respected offensive minds in football, it must have been a choice between either Chow or Young because the two certainly weren't bonding, and that choice is always going to go to the player. Chow will be hired very quickly, perhaps at former cross-town rival UCLA under new coach Rick Neuheisel.

If Pete leaves USC, he's not nearly as smart as everybody gives him credit for.
