The Oakland Raiders started training camp last week and will have their first preseason game of the year next week. Before we know it, the Raiders will be talking final roster cuts and starting lineups for their week one game against the New York Jets. That’s right, after a long offseason full of painful waiting, football is almost back. With training camp only just under way, there is still a lot that is unknown. Some players will surely impress while others will falter. New names will be learned and old names will be departing. With the majority of the story yet to be played out, it is hard to know for sure how the roster will look come final cuts. But with that being said, there are guys we know who are already on the bubble when making the team is concerned. Guys who knew that they would have to impress during training camp and the regular season if they hoped to be wearing Silver and Black come week one. As noted, things can and will change, but as the Raiders continue their first week of training camp, the following guys know that their head is resting on the chopping block and it is on them to get it off. There are clearly many more players than this who are on the bubble, but these are the most significant names.
