Oakland Raiders Receive Seventh-Round Compensatory Pick For 2011 NFL Draft

On Friday, the NFL announced 23 teams will receive a total of 32 compensatory picks for the upcoming draft in April. As for the Oakland Raiders, they were lucky enough to receive an extra compensatory pick in the seventh round (240th overall). Teams are eligible to receive compensatory draft picks if a team loses more or better compensatory free agents than they actually acquire–which is why the Titans received two of them this year. Despite signing Kyle Boller from the Rams, Oakland lost Cornell Green to the Bills last offseason.
