Penn State head coach Bill O’Brien interviewed this week for the vacant Cleveland Browns head coaching job. Bill O'Brien
He was definitely on their radar and they liked his interview a lot, but the former NFL assistant has decided to stay at Penn State. Thus, he has withdrawn his name from future consideration with anymore NFL teams this year.
He was supposed to interview with the Eagles on Thursday. He was regarded as the Eagles top choice, so they have to start their search all over again.
He decided that he didn’t want to make the leap from Happy Valley after just one season. He was 8-4 this season, and has an $18.4 million dollar buyout.
