For many that noticed, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning playing with a bright orange glove of his right hand was a bit of surprise. The man isn't known for changing his routine, but he's in a new town now, one that gets cold and blustery, not anything like the warm confines of an enclosed stadium in Indianapolis. "I was surprised to see it," cornerback Champ Bailey told Mike Klis of the Denver Post. "Because you just don't see quarterbacks wear gloves. But honestly, the way he's throwing it? I wouldn't be surprised if we do start seeing more of it. I know when I'm just throwing the ball around, I throw better with a glove on." And yes, the way he's throwing it, he might be a fool to go without it. Manning wore the glove the entire time in their finale against the Kansas City Chiefs and threw 304 yards with 3 TDs. "I certainly don't think I would have had to wear the glove had I not been injured last (season)," Manning said. "It's part of my injury, some things that I've had to adjust." The most improtant aspect to look at is the fact that the ball is still coming out the same way for Manning. "I would say there's been no difference in the way he's thrown the ball," receiver Eric Decker said. "It's the same." var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});
