Found April 25, 2013 on Mr. Irrelevant:
Of course this draft matters for the Redskins. But, aside from hoping they draft linemen and defensive backs, it has no buzz for the Skins. Probably because they don’t have a first-rounder nor do they need a QB, and I don’t know any college players that aren’t QBs. Plus, the Skins haven’t had good fortune in the second round. Washington is clearly one of the worst-drafting teams overall, and the second round has been particularly unkind: 1980 — Matt Mendenhall 1982 — Vernon Dean 1983 — Richard Williams 1984 — Bob Slater and Steve Hamilton 1985 — Tory Nixon 1986 — Markus Koch and Walter Murray 1987 — Brian Davis and Wally Kleine 1988 — Chip Lohmiller 1990 — Andre Collins 1992 — Shane Collins 1993 — Reggie Brooks 1994 — Tre Johnson 1995 — Cory Raymer 1997 — Greg Jones 1998 — Stephen Alexander 1999 — Jon Jansen 2001 — Fred Smoot 2002 — Ladell Betts 2003 — Taylor Jacobs 2006 — Rocky McIntosh 2008 — Devin Thomas, Fred Davis and Malcolm Kelly 2011 — Jarvis Jenkins
