The Green Bay Packers have had many running backs in the past but they are mostly known for their quarterbacks, Brett Favre and now Aaron Rodgers. Ahman Green, Vernand Morency, Brandon Jackson, DeShawn Wynn, Ryan Grant, James Starks, Cedric Benson, Alex Green, DuJuan Harris are nine backs that have been featured at some point in Mike McCarthy’s seven year tenure. And for the...
GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Eddie Lacy saw the picture. Players inside the Green Bay Packers locker room saw it too and made sure to give their rookie running back a hard time about it.
Lacy didn't care. Yeah, that particular photo doesn't make the 5-foot-11, 230-pounder look good, but Lacy knows it's not an accurate representation of the condition that he's in.
According to this photo, Green Bay Packers rookie running back Eddie Lacy put on some serious weight. He's just plain fat at training camp.
On Monday a photo of Packers running back Eddie Lacy went viral. It looked like the rookie back went on a McDonalds diet and gained 30 pounds over night.
Packers head coach Mike McCarthy cleared things up today and said that Lacy is in shape and wouldn’t be playing if he wasn’t.
“Going through the conditioning test, he was fine. If we had any concern about any guys they wouldn’t...
It only makes sense that in the first practice after I write a piece about how there are 4 corners on the roster (Williams, House, Hayward, Shields) with a legitimate chance to make an impact on the 2013 Green Bay Packers that the darling of training camp is CB Micah Hyde. It certainly makes sense. Hyde has rare size for a cornerback (6’1″ 197) and was a playmaker all throughout...
On Saturday, the Green Bay Packers held their fourth annual 5K run at Lambeau Field, and for one day, Packer Backers set aside the beer, bratwurst and cheese and get a little exercise in as a means to celebrate the start of training camp and the upcoming NFL season. One such individual who attended the [...]The post Elderly Packers fan rocks her trademark mohawk for team’s annual...
Packers rookie running back Eddie Lacy received a ton of scrutiny on Monday when a photo of him catching a pass, while looking extremely chubby surfaced on the web.
Packers head coach Mike McCarthy came to Lacy’s rescue on Tuesday, and told reporters “that photos are deceiving, and that Lacy is in good enough shape to do what the Packers need him to do.”
Veteran wide receiver Jordy Nelson struggled at times to get open last season
The Green Bay Packers reported to camp on Thursday and worked in shells on Friday and Saturday. Here are three somewhat under-the-radar issues facing the team heading into the first full week of practice:

With Broncos center Dan Koppen lost for the season the first name that came to everyone’s mind was that of Jeff Saturday. Saturday, 38, was the longtime center for Peyton Manning in Indianapolis but the [...]

Am I a sucker for useless things sold by sports franchises? Yep, I already have one share of the Green Bay Packers…
There are more Green Bay Packers fans in this country than fanatics of any other team. At least that’s what Nebraska Cornhuskers QB Taylor Martinez told me a few days ago. Although I’m not sure what metric he’s using. Or if he’s even right. He says the Huskers are #2 behind the Packers. Sounds believable to me.
But I recommend all Packer Backers check out the beautifully...
