GREEN BAY, Wis. -- It's going to be at least one more week until Green Bay Packers cornerback Casey Hayward is able to make his season debut. Though Hayward was able to participate in Thursday and Friday's practice on a limited basis, he was ruled out for the Packers' Week 6 game on the road against the Baltimore Ravens. "I think Casey is further ahead this week than he was last week, but he's not ready to go," coach Mike McCarthy said. "We'll do the testing process Monday or Tuesday like we normally do, and then we'll see where he is as we prepare for Wednesday's practice." Hayward, who finished third in the NFL's Defensive Rookie of the Year race last season, entered training camp with a hamstring injury and missed the team's first 15 practices. After briefly returning, Hayward aggravated his hamstring in Green Bay's third preseason game and has been out since. It's unclear where Hayward will fit into the Packers' defensive game plan once he is medically cleared. Green Bay has had Sam Shields and Tramon Williams starting outside, then moving Williams to the slot and playing Davon House outside in the nickel packages. Hayward was the only new addition to the list of Packers who will not be available for Sunday's game in Baltimore. Earlier in the week, McCarthy already announced that outside linebacker Clay Matthews (thumb), inside linebacker Brad Jones (hamstring), running back James Starks (knee) and offensive lineman Greg Van Roten (foot) would be out. Green Bay's linebacker depth was put even further into question this week when Andy Mulumba (ankle) didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, but the undrafted rookie practiced Friday and is listed as probable. Linebacker Sam Barrington (hip) was fine earlier in the week but didn't practice Friday. However, Barrington is also probable. "Sam Barrington needed the day off, just based on the last two days of practice," McCarthy said. "But I feel good that he'll be ready for Sunday." Defensive lineman Ryan Pickett (hand) is probable and cornerback Jarrett Bush (hamstring) is questionable. For the Ravens, a few notable names who are listed as questionable on the injury report are defensive tackle Haloti Ngata (hip), running back Bernard Pierce (thigh) and wide receiver Jacoby Jones (knee).
