Packers Planning Up-Tempo Attack in 2014

Beware NFL defenses, it appears that the Green Bay Packers are planning to employ an up-tempo offensive attack with Aaron Rodgers under center in 2014. Green Bay averaged about 67 plays per game last season, but it’s now looking at increasing that number to 75 plus.  That eight-play increase might not seem like a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but it does average out...

One of these guys is going to lower the Packers offensive snap count. Recently, Packers head coach Mike McCarthy stated in an interview with Rob Demovsky that he plans for the Packers to run 75 offensive plays on average per game.  While this might seem like a great idea consider the Packers have one of the most high flying and potentially dangerous offenses in the NFL, one only...

2014 Fantasy Football Tight End ADP Sleepers and Busts

2014 Fantasy Football Tight End ADP Sleepers and Busts Jared Cook – Cook opened 2013 with a bang lighting up the fantasy boxscore with 141 yards and two touchdowns but was mostly free agent material the rest of the way. While the top of the depth chart is all but locked down for Aaron Rodgers, there is reason to keep an eye on the other quarterbacks that will be vying for a spot on the Green Bay Packers once training camp begins. The duo never really answered the question, so let’s answer it here. First, some context: If Julius Peppers has a great...

Will Packers Keep Three Quarterbacks?

The Green Bay Packers have not kept three quarterbacks on their roster since 2010 when they kept Aaron Rodgers, Matt Flynn and Graham Harrell. That could change this season. The Packers have kept only two quarterbacks for the last three years to give them added roster flexibility. Keeping only two quarterbacks has allowed them to grab an extra roster spot at another position. Maybe...
