The Packers have made the decision to put Derek Sherrod on the reserve/physically unable to perform list, which ends his season. Sherrod hasn't appeared in a regular season or preseason game since breaking his leg last season against the Kansas City Chiefs, and his recovery from that injury has gone much slower than expected.
Mike McCarthy also spoke on Tuesday about running back Cedric Benson, who is on injured reserve but designated for return. The team is going to get more information about his foot injury on Wednesday, and could learn whether or not there is any possibility of a return for Benson. If he needs surgery, he will not be able to return this year. Source: SBNation.com Attached Thumbnails
