When the Carolina Panthers take the field on Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, they will be forced to use their third-string quarterback and fourth-string running back.
After Jimmy Clausen—who took over as the starter with Matt Moore out for the season—suffered a concussion on the final offensive play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last weekend, the Panthers will now turn to Brian St. Pierre—who has played just two games in eight seasons—as their starting quarterback. Last week, St. Pierre was just a stay-at home dad and now, he will be leading a Carolina offense who ranks last in the NFL by averaging just 11.6 points per game.
As far as running back is concerned, Mike Goodson will start his second-straight game at running back for the Panthers now that DeAngelo Williams—who was recently placed on IR with a foot injury—and Jonathan Stewart have been ruled out again.
