Via Panthers Report:

Now that the 2011 NFL Draft has officially wrapped up, all eyes will be on the quarterback battle between No. 1 pick Cam Newton and Jimmy Clausen–but that’s not all they may be fighting for.
In a recent interview with Joseph Person of the Raleigh News & Observer, Clausen said, “It’s mine now” when asked about whether or not he would be willing to give up the No. 2 jersey–the same number worn by Newton during his time at Auburn. Clausen has been very welcoming to the Heisman Trophy winner by sending him messages through Twitter and texts, but this whole situation about jersey numbers could add more fuel to the fire of what is expected to be one of the most interesting quarterback battles heading into the 2011 season.
With all of the hype surrounding Newton after the type of year he had at Auburn (National Championship and Heisman Trophy winner), it should be interesting to see if Carolina forced Clausen to surrender the No. 2 jersey. As the No. 1 pick, the Panthers will want to do everything they can to make their new quarterback happy–even if it is just a jersey number.
Clausen was thrown into the mix a little early as a rookie after Matt Moore was sidelined for the season with a shoulder injury and was far from being ready to be an NFL starter–throwing for just three touchdowns in 13 appearances last season. While it’s unfair to judge the former Notre Dame standout due to his lack of receiving corps, there’s a good chance Clausen could miss out on the starting job now that Newton is on board–which is ironic considering how excited they were one year ago about Clausen developing into a franchise quarterback.
Let the fun battle begin.

God Bless America, except "FREEAMERICAN"
As far for Obama, well Bush graduated from Yale and Harvard. There are no visible records of his attendance in Colombia University. He did graduate Magna Cum Laude that is true, but what about Colombia University? You had to get a Bachelors before you enter a graduate program to accept you, I know this myself personally.
If Obama was proud of his college records and achievements why does he not show his accomplishments by unsealing his documents. What does he have to hide? I would like to know, I believe Obama is a extremely intelligent man but if you are going to brag about your achievements, then show them and not just talk about them.
I'm sic and tired about people who question Obama's history RACIST. I guess blacks who questioned Bush's history are RACIST as well. A spade is a spade. 97% of Blacks voted for Obama because he's so-called BLACK. Blacks did not know any of his beliefs (Muslim) or his policies (Abortion) they saw he had a black face, but he's got a white mamma.
Trump is being Trump no matter how you look at it. Heck, Trump is blacker than Obama. Trumps has been around Black people for years more than Obama, the only time Obama hung with Blacks, was when he went to Chicago.
These are questions that can be answered on side-issues section. Obama did a good thing by taking down Bin Laden (already frozen in 2003)
Let's discuss the oil prices, can't blame Bush for it.
Or getting the troops out of war especially Libya (we had no business there in the first place)
Or Obama stop ignoring congressional black caucus proposals for equal opprotunity jobs for people of color and poor whites.
Those are issues I like to tackle.
I'm glad that not every one shares your caveman mentality!
Now about the character thing.....Cam knew what his daddy was doing and he also knew what he was doing when he committed the other things he has been accused of. That will follow him until he proves he is a better man. My opinion is that that this kid has character issues and likes to take short cuts at any cost. He knew exactly what daddy was doing and got on the bus. I hope the kid does well and makes a liar outta me. I wish Carolina well too but they don't the players around Cam to make him successful and his lack of experience will be exposed and then we will see the true character of the man. Daddy can't sell him to the highest bidder then. He will have to stand tall and take responsibility for the decisions he has made and will make.
