Before the lockout even happened, the Miami Dolphins made it clear that Carolina Panthers running back DeAngelo Williams was at the top of their wish list this offseason. Despite previously expressing interest to stay in Carolina, it appears the feelings between Williams and the Dolphins may be mutual. According to Gregg Rosenthal of ProFootballTalk.com, Williams recently discussed the rumors of Miami’s desire to land him this offseason with Omar Kelly of WQAM in Miami. While he’s technically not allowed to say anything about joining other teams, Williams hinted in a recent interview how he hopes the Dolphins make a run for him once the lockout comes to an end.
