Patrick Chung was not fined for his hit that drew an unnecessary roughness penalty against the Jaguars.— Jeff Howe (@jeffphowe) December 28, 2012This was a topic of much debate this week, with many fans expecting Chung to be getting a fine.I'm not really sure I agree with that, and probably side more with the league office. It was a hit to the head but did not seem malicious in its intent. He also didn't hit helmet to helmet which is really what the league is trying to get rid of.Sound off in the comments, should Chung have been fined for this hit?

MJD has spent the bulk of the season watching his team from the sidelines after a nasty labor dispute cost him both his training camp and pre-season.
The question now becomes ‘ is it time for both parties to part ways?’

Now a member of the Jaguars, defensive end Jason Babin ripped his former team, referring to the Eagles organization as "kind of a big socialistic system."
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew had surgery on his left foot Friday. The Jaguars best offensive player has been out since October 21 when he sustained the injury in Oakland. The Jaguars expected that Jones-Drew would be able to return eventually, but the foot didn't heal. Coach Mike Mularkey hopes his starting running back will be able to participate in...
I’m not sure how this took so long to get out in the open but it is absolutely hysterical. The Jags are a mess. They put their playbooks on some players iPads and then forgot to wipe them before player went to another team.— Plato Lombardi (@NFLosophy) December 23, 2012Because the Jags didn’t remotely delete the playbooks off of iPads, other teams had access to it when the player...
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed running back Maurice Jones-Drew on injured reserve because of a foot injury.
The Jaguars (2-13) waited nearly two months before ending Jones-Drew's season, holding out hope that the league's leading rusher in 2011 would get healthy.
He injured his left foot Oct. 21 at Oakland when he was tackled on the opening...

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced that RB Maurice Jones-Drew will undergo surgery on his foot Friday and is expected to be out until May.
It’s certainly puzzling to see the Jaguars hold off on placing him on the injured reserve list and wait for him to undergo surgery. They could have made this move months ago and insured that Jones-Drew would have been better prepared for...
In a move that took about two months longer than it should have, the Jacksonville Jaguars have finally placed running back Maurice Jones-Drew on season ending IR. Of course, the season was going to end in three more days for the Jaguars to begin with, so this move means very little.
A season that began poorly ended even worse for Jones-Drew and the Jaguars. After a lengthy contract...

Jaguars star running back Maurice Jones Drew, who has already missed most of this season with a foot injury, will now be out of action until at least May after he had another surgery on his left foot. This is just another blow to an already miserable season for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Jones Drew suffered a left foot injury in an October 21st matchup against the Oakland Raiders...
Even with a recent report that Jets quarterback Tim Tebow could end up with the Jacksonville Jaguars next season, Arthur Arkush of ProFootballWeekly.com says it’s probably a stretch to believe that he’ll be a Jaguar in 2013.
After doing a little digging, we hear that categorizing his arrival in Jacksonville after the season as imminent is a major stretch.

The Jacksonville Jaguars placed running back Maurice Jones-Drew on injured reserve and signed rookie defensive tackle Jerome Long from Kansas City's practice squad on Friday. The Jacksonville Jaguars will go on the road to play the Tennessee Titans in Week 17. CBS will carry this game from LP Field in Nashville, TN. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 pm EST.

The Jaguars (2-13) will play their final regular season game against the Titans (5-10) in Nashville on Sunday. This game will unfortunately be devoid of meaning and purpose when considering playoff contention. The only importance this game has for the two bland, uninspiring and vanilla (not even French vanilla but pure, vanilla-y, vanilla) teams taking the field is draft positioning...
