Patriots CB Leigh Bodden made the rounds at radio row, chatting with reporters (right) and discussing why he was picking the Packers to win it all. He also provided an update on his shoulder injury that landed him on Injured Reserve all year.
“I’m going to be good,” Bodden said. “It’s my shoulder. I’m rehabbing good, lifting. It’s been five months. I have the most confidence in the world that I’m going to have the best season next year.”
So… if he had to play now, five months later, could he?
“For me, I feel great,” Bodden said. “It’s strong. I’ve been lifting on it, not too much, not heavy weighs, but the stability is good and if I was playing in the Super Bowl and I had to play, I would play. That’s the most asked question coaches sometimes ask. ‘If this was the Super Bowl, would you be able to play?’ And I’d say, ‘Yeah.’ ”
