Though there’s been a lot of talk about the dynamic Patriots offense this season, defensive end Mark Anderson is quick to point out that the N.Y. Giants offensive output isn’t anything to scoff at. And that’s thanks to their quarterback Eli Manning.
Manning’s had a career year throwing for 4,933 yards to go along with 29 touchdowns. So when asked what he see when he looks at the Giants offense, he gave one name – “Eli.”
“Eli is the key to their team right now. He’s the engine right now. He’s out there playing real good ball,” Anderson said. “He’s leading the team. He’s got some good receivers, they’re catching the ball. Offensive line looking great, the running game looking great so I see a complete team.”
Manning also has three top notch receivers in Victor Cruz (1,536 yards and nine touchdowns), Hakeem Nicks (1,192 yards and seven touchdowns) and Mario Manningham (523 yards and four touchdowns) at his disposal. And he’s looked dominant thus far in the playoffs throwing for 923 yar...
