Patriots DL Marcus Stroud talks about leaving the Bills, fitting in with the Patriots and other stuff!

In this morning’s Herald, you read about the Patriots’ newest addition, defensive lineman Marcus Stroud. Then, you read about him again on the blog. Want a little bit more? A few more tidbits from Stroud… On playing in the Pats’ scheme: “With the timing (of the lockout), we talked as much as we could in a day or two. So, I know the scheme, I’m familiar with it, but I guess all that other stuff and exactly where I fit in, where I would be playing and stuff like that, that’ll take care of itself.” On his experience in the 3-4 in Buffalo: “I played it in Buffalo last year, I have a little experience with it. At the end of the day, it’s still football. You got to be able to get on and off your blocks, tackle the ball.” (more…)
