Patriots DL Marcus Stroud talks Wrestlemania XXVII — the Rock’s return and why he can’t get tickets

When I spoke to Marcus Stroud earlier in the week, we talked about all sorts of football topics. Like this and this. But the interview also ranged off the field, including one topic you’ll read in Karen Guregian’s Sunday NFL Notes. But what I absolutely loved was this discovery: Did you know Stroud is a huge wrestling fan? He’s been a fan since he’s used to turn on TBS to watch NWA. “The Superstation!” he said. “Every Saturday! That was pretty cool.” And while spending his time in the NFL for the last decade, he’s always made time to be a wrestling fan.
