Patriots quarterback Tom Brady didn’t participate in practice today. The decorated passer sat out the first workout leading up to the AFC championship game against the Ravens, nursing a sprained left shoulder. Brady didn’t reaggravate the injury against the Broncos, who hit him only twice. Instead, it was a precautionary measure that emphasizes that Brady is nursing an injury. It is a pain issue, and Brady has shown the ability to play through almost anything.
