The Patriots’ inactive list is loaded with some key names. Tight end Aaron Hernandez (ankle), left guard Logan Mankins (ankle, calf), safety Patrick Chung (shoulder, hamstring), right guard Dan Connolly (back), tight end Daniel Fells, defensive end Justin Francis and defensive end Jake Bequette will not play against the Colts. Fells, Francis and Bequette are healthy scratches. Cornerback Aqib Talib will make his Patriots debut, and wide receiver Wes Welker (ankle) will play, as expected.
