Edelman who played in nine games last season (three starts) and made 21 catches for 235 yards and a career-high three touchdowns missed the last four games of the regular-season and the Patriots' playoff run to the AFC Championship Game after suffering a fractured right foot in a game at Miami Dec. 4 2012. Idle since that setback Edelman gained medical clearance to begin working as the Patriots embarked on their second week of training camp at Gillette Stadium. In other news: The Patriots announced they had signed four players and released DB Stephon Morris who pulled up with a right hamstring injury in Tuesday's practice in full pads.
