New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco has been quiet this season - both on the field and, for the most part, toward the media as well.
After being inactive last week, the Boston Herald asked Ochocinco if he regrets talking his way out of Cincinnati to join New England.
"No, there's no bittersweetness," Ochocinco told the paper. "There's a competitive side to me that is angry, the competitive nature in me that it didn't go the way it normally has. I routinely produce a certain way every year. So when that routine goes astray like it did this year, it feels funny."
Ochocinco has been a non-factor in his first season with the Patriots, catching only 15 passes for 276 yards and one touchdown.
A perennial Pro Bowler with Cincinnati, Ochocinco played just one snap in the team's playoff win over Denver.
