We told you on Wednesday morning that Patriots WR Wes Welker was spotted at a charity event with a soft cast on his wrist (right, from Drea Catalano/13 Photography). He wasn’t listed on the injury report, but it’s something to watch.
“Wrist is fine,” Welker said today
When you’re spotted with a brace around town, won’t people notice? How do you respond?
“Um, I never wore a brace,” Welker said, “so I’m not sure where that’s coming from. But I don’t know… whatever they think, they think. I’m just out here trying to play some ball.”
